| I dont know how many of the ally watch anime but for thos that do whats your top 5.
i cant order my top 5 i like them all
ghost in the shall, includes both seasons and 1st movie. did not like 2ed movie and did not see the 3rd full metal panic, all three last exile haibane renmei elfen lied
others i have to mention inuyasha, too many fillers and does not end. Rurouni Kenshin: Trust and Betrayal OVA. very good would be top 5 but its a ova so i left it out Cowboy Bebop, hard time picking this or full metal panic. Wolf's Rain, gets slow in spots trigun, not seen all the eps
not seen many i did not like so this list could get big if i don't stop my self ^_^
old time fav... dragon ball hated dbz tho
top 10 will be fine but that almost needs a order
edit: my dislikes cant have top list if u dont have dislikes too Gungrave the plot is ok but can you get any slower, still not finished but i dont think i can its so slow, made to like ep 4 0o dbz how long can you stand in one spot. theres how many eps and they could have made like 35 eps and have the same story. theres more but thos 2 are just SLOW
ive not seen many bad animes for the fact that i read around before i start watching. i dont got time to watch shit

| As a kid , i loved anime. But now i really have no interest in it anymore. I much much prefer reading manga 'cause every anime version of the manga i like is all crappy compared to the books.
So here are my top mangas: Dr. Slump Black Jack Dragonball and Dragonball Z Doraemon Yotsuba& !
I've just finished Ragnarok. It was an ok series, short enough not being boring Im reading Claymore now. Kinda good.

oh , Fullmetal Alchemist(that is anime) i look sometimes , is it too? Japanese Animation People usually think that anime is the animated version of japanese comic (manga). While in most cases this is true, however, not all anime is based on manga. For example, some anime are based on video games like Sakura Taisen and Tales of Eternia. In anime, faces are very streamlined, but are used to convey the wide range of human emotions. The designs are so simplified that the smallest curve can change the entire character's expression. Characters often have multiple styles of faces, such as the normal face, the serious face, and the ultra cartoony or super deformed face, all used for the same characters at various times depending on what the situation calls for. Most important are the big glossy eyes, said to be part of the legacy of Disney, who had a big influence on pioneering Japanese animators, but are also used because of the high level of emotion that having large eyes affords. Hair is another widely recognized feature of anime characters. Not only do characters often have outrageously huge hair styles, but anime hair comes in all various colors not naturally found on people. Used primarily to help distinguish character from character, the colors often times suggest something about personality traits. Hair is usually given the 3 shade treatment of highlight, regular color, and shadow and tends to be drawn very angularly. Body proportions emulated in anime come from proportions of the human body. The height of the head is considered as the base unit of proportion. Head heights can vary as long as the remainder of the body remain proportional. Most anime characters are about seven to eight heads tall, and extreme heights are set around nine heads tall.[18] Variations to proportion can be modded. Chibi or super deformed characters feature a non-proportionally small body compared to the head. Sometimes specific body parts, like legs, are shortened or elongated for added emphasis. Mostly chibi are two to four heads tall. Some anime works like Crayon Shin-chan completely disregard these proportions. It is enough such that it resembles a Western cartoon. For exaggeration, certain body features are increased in proportion. The following is a list of the major genres and designations that are specific to anime and manga.[28] * Action/Adventure primarily focuses on battles, war, and physical competition. Martial arts, weapon fighting, or other action oriented material are usually featured. Examples: Naruto or One Piece. * Drama primarily has a high degree of character development and emotional themes. Many center around relationship complications. Examples: Fushigi Yūgi or InuYasha. * Game Based primarily revolves around some sort of card or board game. Examples: Yu-Gi-Oh! or Hikaru No Go. * Horror use darker and/or supernatural themes. Examples: Vampire Hunter D series or Chrono Crusade. * Science fiction consists of futuristic elements, particularly featuring future science and technology. They can be drawn from current scientific studies and inventions or created to meet the needs of the world. Examples: Ghost in the Shell or Wings of Honneamise * Progressive or "Art films" are extremely stylized. Examples: Sayonara Zetsubō Sensei or Byōsoku 5 Centimetre. Thematic * Bishōjo is Japanese for "beautiful girl". A blanket term that features pretty girl characters. Sometimes conflated with Moè. Examples: Magic Knight Rayearth or Negima. * Bishōnen is Japanese for "beautiful boy". A blanket term that can be used to describe any anime that features "pretty" and elegant boys and men. Examples: Fushigi Yūgi or most CLAMP shows. * Sentai is literally a "fighting team" in Japanese. It refers to any show that involves a superhero team. Examples: Cyborg 009 or Voltron. * Robot/Mecha features super robots. Examples: Mobile Suit Gundam or Mazinger Z. * Post-Apocalyptic simply deals with a post-apocalyptic world. Examples: Fist of the North Star or Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind. * Mahō shōjo is a subgenre of shōjo known for "Magical Girl" stories. Examples: Sailor Moon or Cardcaptor Sakura. * Mahō shōnen is a male equivalent of Mahō Shōjo. Examples: D.N.Angel or Fullmetal Alchemist * Moé features characters with perky, cute, weak, or naïve behaviors. In some way, they are not overly independent.[29] Examples: A Little Snow Fairy Sugar. * Expertise specializes with a specific topic in depth. Topics range from sports, the arts, and cooking. Examples: Eyeshield 21 with football, or Yakitate! Japan with bread-making. * Lolicon ("Lolita Complex") is the sexualization of under-aged female characters, the name coming from the titular character of Vladimir Nabokov's Lolita. Example: Kodomo no Jikan * Shotacon ("Shōtarō Complex") is the sexualization of under-aged male characters, the name coming from the lead child actor from Tetsujin-nijūhachi-gō. Example: Papa to Kiss in the Dark * Harem is a genre which focuses on a male character surrounded by the romance of multiple female characters. Typically, the male cohabits with at least one female.[30] It is usually marketed as a Shōnen or Seinen.[31] Examples: Ranma ½ or Love Hina. * Reverse Harem reverses the gender balance in harem, where a female character is romantically involved with many male characters. It is more often than not a Shōjo or Josei Anime. Examples: Ouran High School Host Club or Fruits Basket. * Magical Girlfriend is more accurately termed Exotic Girlfriend. This genre focuses on the romantic relationship (and cohabitation) between a man and at least one woman of extraordinary origins such as alien (Tenchi Muyo!, Urusei Yatsura), supernatural (Oh My Goddess!), or technological (Chobits). Often considered a subgenre of Harem.[32][33] * Ecchi is Japanese for "indecent sexuality", derived from the Japanese pronunciation of the letter "H", (the origin of the term is not well known, even in Japan. See main article for more information.) Sexual humor and fan service are prevalent. Examples: Oruchuban Ebichu or He Is My Master. * Hentai is Japanese for "abnormal" or "perverted". This term is synonymous to pornography or erotica, as hentai content specifically consists of such. Examples: La Blue Girl or Bible Black. * Shōjo-ai or Yuri is Japanese for "girl-love". These focus on love and romance between female characters. It is often being replaced by the term "Girls Love" (GL). Yuri is like Shōjo-ai, but sometimes involves older characters or explicit sexual activity. Examples: Revolutionary Girl Utena or Kannazuki no Miko. * Shōnen-ai is Japanese for 'boy-love'. These focus on love and romance between male characters. The term "Shōnen-ai" is being phased out in Japan due to its other meaning of pederasty, and is being replaced by the term "Boys Love" (BL). Examples: Loveless or Gravitation * Yaoi is like "Shōnen-ai" but often involving older characters and explicit sexual activity. Examples: Sensitive Pornograph i did not write any of this all cut in paste wiki http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anime and animeNfo http://www.animenfo.com/anime101.php theres a top 200 list there as well and info on most animes i probably messed a lot so if you really wont to know more look at thos links

Not really something i watch often. ive not seen lupon but ya the others are top 10. and for kinos journey or Kino no tabi, it was very good and the last ep could not have been better, it just fit perfectly. thx who ever listed it i read about it a long time ago but i could not find a dl and forgot but seeing it in one of the lists reminded me of it so i looked a little harder for it this time^^
